I totally interpreted this to mean, “Don’t play any wrong notes!”  But Beatrice straightened me out saying that it meant there ARE no wrong notes!  (It is a sticker from an improvisation camp she goes to each year in NY.

Today I was listening to a Dave Ramsey podcast.  A girl named Yvonne called in and described her situation as follows:

• she is 32 and her husband is 34
• Joint household income $180,000 per year
• completely debt free including their house
• they have two rental properties that they paid for in cash and produce $1600 per month of cash flow
• they save $6000 per month

And their question was “when should they start putting the brakes on their gazelle intensity?”

Dave Ramsey said, “Uh, a while ago!”

I was very inspired by this story, and shared it with my friend/sponsor, Ben.

I got emotional relaying the story, and envisioning that this could indeed be our future in the not too distant many years.

Then, as I was sitting in the parking lot of Salt Lake Community College, I looked down at my trip odometer and noticed that the mileage said exactly 180.0 miles! To me that was just a little confirmation that my mind and heart are thinking and feeling in the right direction. Praise God for wonderful examples of what our future may look like if we continue doing what we’re good at, organizing our money, working hard and keeping the commandments.
